Clay Mask Recipe

I love whipping up this super easy mask. I use Frankincense and Tea Tree because it is great support for my skin and two of my favorite oils. I don’t wear much make-up and I am guilty of not washing my face before bed. This mask really pulls everything out and leaves it feeling clean and fresh. You can get creative with other essential oils that are beneficial for skin. The clay is extremely absorbent, so it draws toxic substances out and is known for reducing pores.

Putting this mask together is easy peasy. Mix together in a ceramic bowl. Do not use metal utensils. You can add water to thin it out if needed. Apply a thin layer over face.

I usually keep my mask on until dry, about 20 mins. You will feel your skin tighten as it dries. If you have sensitive skin, I would test an area before applying. Once you take it off you’ll find that your skin is a little red. That is normal. I finish my regimen with Renewal Serum!

Cedarwood Essential Oil

Got hair? Or lack thereof? Well, your not alone. In fact, according to the American Academy of Dermatology: Forty percent of women have visible hair loss by the time they are age 40. Stress, genetics, thyroid issues and hormone imbalances may be contributing factors to this frustrating and seemingly helpless issue. But WAIT! Before you run out and get yourself a hair transplant or toxic Rogaine wash, you may want to consider Cedarwood.

I'm not saying its going to give a bald man a full head of hair but if your hoping to add some volume or pick up the pace of how fast your hair is growing, here are some ideas to support your mane:

Try diluting Cedarwood with your favorite carrier oil, like coconut oil, in a 50:50 ratio then massage 1 teaspoon of the mixture into the scalp. Do this vigorously and thoroughly for 2-3 minutes before bedtime and allow it to work overnight.

BONUS BEAUTY TIP: Apply leftover mixture to your eyebrows! No more drawing on the eyebrows, ladies. Can you imagine?!?
